3:56 Repainted, and they used the cheap decals. Even the paint was cheap to be faded that bad. It does have the Roll-O-Matic front end on it though. Those are kinda neat. Rubber is worth more than the machine, and somebody at least put rain caps on it.

what a fun trip. better than a tractor show, since you can find implements and attachments, too! (shiny paint is great, but they all look the same restored to delivery condition). people are funny--shiny paint nice tractor is scrapped while pile of rust is given a full restoration...If everything was as "cool" as a camaro or mustang, all you need is an A pillar and VIN and half a million dollars and you're a hero for rebuilding from the ground up😂😮

  • @PaulHigginbothamSr

I'm not sure which I like better, silver or chrome paint. Better than grey never the less. It's just that chrome paint needs on real thick to look good. Certainly would be very similar to silver if both were correctly applied. Tell me where I am screwed up JT since you will be 20 steps ahead with your better techniques.😊

Hey JT, that is a great way to spend Father's Day. Those of us of a certain age, always had our special junk yard, not auto salvage facility, where our daily driver got the parts needed to keep her on the road. No keys for the new car on graduation day for us! My first car was a 1964 Dodge former Wisconsin State Patrol car. Got me in all sorts of trouble!😢 Larry's auto salvage, Butler Wisconsin. Not many of those old rambling yards anymore. I'm sitting in my 1998 24 valve Cummins Dodge 3500. She's never seen a winter. On these nice early mornings before anyone else is up I'll pick one of the fleet and take a little drive. I've got a 64 F100, 74 CJ 7 , 79 CJ 7, 98 3500, 02 S10 Crew Cab and I'm working on my 65 F350 dump truck. It's great being retired. Or is it just tired😮 Thanks

I'm a big fan of old crusty junk myself. But I think I'll stick to my old vintage big bore 2-stroke dirt bikes and chainsaws, they're much easier to store since they're smaller than a tractor. I need to get my ass in gear and finally start working on one of my dirt bikes. I've just been so busy helping with getting the yard cleaned up. I love old tractors and farm equipment as well but I don't have the space to store anything like that on our current property. But our 12.5 acres of land we got last summer just so happens to have an old horse drawn cultivator on it hiding in the weeds. I'd say it has to either be from the 1920's or 1930's with the all steel tires. I agree with everyone else though, I think that old C/40 needs to go home with so it can become part of your fleet. If the wife asks just to her it followed you home like a lost puppy. :)

Interesting. Just to inform you, Andrew Meikle who came from my village in Scotland invented the threshing mill way back in 1700,s. He was also friends with Rennie who was famous for some of his great buildings. Both grew up working in Meikles father's blacksmiths shop. Be such a shame leaving that Massey there, was it the 35?
